Microsoft did not specify in its changelog how the Surface Laptop Go will have better battery life after the update. The support page mentions an activated version of Windows 11 but does not list what feature it is.
In September 2021, a Microsoft Mechanics video explained why some devices running Windows 11 work better than Windows 10. It works with a variety of features to boost performance, including the operating system that prioritizes apps in the foreground. One of the features outlined in this video has the potential to play a role in the final improvement in battery life on the Surface Laptop Go.
The graphics stability coming to the Surface Laptop Go is probably due to the new Intel display driver 27. 20. 100. 9621. The update to the device is offered via Windows Update, which can be accessed via Update & Security in Settings. You can also turn on optional updates by clicking the view option.
If you don’t get the updates via Windows Update, the standalone firmware update and drivers file is available on Microsoft’s website.
