Goldman Sachs plans to offer crypto asset services to asset management clients in the second quarter of the year.
US banking giant Goldman Sachs plans to launch crypto asset services soon. In an interview with CNBC, global head of digital assets, Mary Catherine Rich, announced that she will begin serving clients in her private asset management group for Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies. “We are working closely with teams across the firm to explore ways to offer thoughtful and appropriate access to the ecosystem for private equity clients, and this is something we look forward to delivering in the near term,” Rich said in a statement. ”
This move by the bank follows crypto-asset service disclosures from other major traditional banking giants. Morgan Stanley, another leading bank, also announced this month that they will be able to offer Bitcoin funds to their customers.
