Trying to step into the electric car world, Bentley showed the Mulliner Batur model for the first time last week. In a photo that emerged today, Mulliner noted that Batur will be customizable. According to Bentley, the car will even be 3D-printed with 18-carat gold plating.
Bentley Mulliner Batur will be almost fully customizable
Here’s a new image of the Bentley Mulliner Batur that appeared at Monterey Car Week last week. Stating that it blended its previous series in a new and more elegant form, the British automotive giant said that the new vehicle will also have an electric option.
According to Bentley’s latest post, Mulliner Batur stands out with one of Bentley’s most powerful engines. Using a twin-turbocharged W12 engine, the new vehicle will be “the most advanced chassis system ever to adapt to straight-line performance with exceptional dynamism.”
The new image released by Bentley revealed how the vehicle will look from the side. Mulliner Batur’s design noted that the taillight will be thin and the fenders will be larger than expected. The company also said that “every surface and component” can be customized.
The British automotive manufacturer also points out that Mulliner Batur will be customer-specific. Bentley said vehicle owners can opt for options such as low-carbon leather, natural fiber composite or even 3D-printed 18-karat gold plating.
The company plans to reveal all the features of Mulliner Batur on August 20. However, even the images of the vehicle published so far aroused curiosity. Bentley is expected to launch its first electric vehicle in 2025, but we don’t know if this model will be the Mulliner Batur.
