It looks like Google will offer the long-awaited Gmail refresh to everyone very soon. With this change, your Gmail account may soon look a little different as well.
Gmail, which will be updated to provide users with a more complete Google Workspace experience, now brings together not only e-mail services, but also video conferencing and chat options under one roof.
Users will not need to do anything to activate the revamped Gmail; Google will gradually migrate all users to this new design.
The company says in its Google Workspace update post that the new look will “become the standard experience for Gmail, with no option to go back to the original UI.” So even if you don’t like it, you won’t have a chance to go back from the new look.
In fact, most Gmail users started trying the new look in November 2022. But they had the option to revert to the “original look” at any time.
There will be no going back once users switch to the new design. However, Google states that users can change the Gmail theme, inbox type, and more from the quick settings menu.
