The Metaverse council will seek to focus on shaping the future of global initiatives.
Global Esports Federation, a non-governmental organization that brings together the world’s esports community, has announced that it has created a metaverse council.

The federation stated that they have formed the metaverse council to focus on shaping concrete metaverse development initiatives for the global community.
The council will consist of blockchain experts, NFT developers and social media influencers. Paul J. Foster, CEO of GEF, said:
“We established the GEF Metaverse Council to develop ideas, sound and shape into our metaverse reality and we will strive to access unlimited opportunities for our entire worldconnected community.”
Hugo Philion, CEO of the blockchain interoperability project Flare, will chair the council. Flare stated that it offers “a method of scaling for smart contract networks without relying on economic security mechanisms”.
Philion made the following statements in its statement:
