Gigabyte’s new gaming monitor uses Samsung’s 5120×1440 DQHD resolution, 1800R curved screen. The monitor offers 144Hz refresh rate, 0.03 ms ultra-fast response time (GtG), AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support. The highlight of the monitor is the OLED Care function. This feature uses an artificial intelligence-based algorithm to protect the OLED screen from burn-in.

In terms of color accuracy and quality, the Gigabyte gaming monitor is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified, offers 10-bit color depth, 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut. So, in addition to gaming, it is a monitor suitable for professional work such as video editing, where color accuracy is critical.

Looking at the ports, we see 2 HDMI 2.1 ports, 1 DisplayPort 1.4 port, USB-C, audio jack and 2 USB-C Type-A. The monitor has two 5w speakers. The monitor has the ability to tilt between -5° and 20° and rotate between -20° and 20°. There is no pivot or height adjustment feature. Compatible with 100×100 mm VESA wall mount and Kensington lock available. Dimensions of the monitor are 1194.78 x 558.80 x 261.52 mm (with stand), 615.11 x 367.35 x 42.22 mm (without stand).

Gigabyte did not share information about the price and release date of the new ultrawide gaming monitor.
