Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND) has launched a collection of 999 dog-themed NFTs on the Ethereum network.

Bundesnachrichtendienst (BND), Germany’s foreign intelligence agency, entered the NFT sector to discover and incorporate cyber capabilities. The intelligence service released the dog-themed NFT collection on the Ethereum network, which was extracted with the logic of an on-chain treasure hunt.

BND’s 999 collection, inspired by protection and security dogs, was launched under the name Dogs of BND.

Germany’s Federal Intelligence Service (BND) stepped into digital asset technology with its NFT collection Dogs of BNB. It was stated that the purpose of the intelligence in this collection is to discover cyber capabilities.

The 999-piece NFT collection has an important place in the mechanism of discovering cyber capabilities created by BND. NFTs have only been posted on Instagram, BND explains. These NFTs can be collected by finding the string of characters pointing to the Ethereum address.

Launched earlier this month, the talent scouting program with NFT uses dog figures inspired by different intelligence roles. Police dogs and security dogs are also part of this NFT collection.

However, twelve of the NFTs are not included in the collection. Intelligence plans to use these NFTs for more challenging missions in the future.
