GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 series will be delayed: here is the reason
New information about the release calendar of the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 series has emerged. Previously, the RTX 5070 was expected to be released at the end of February, but according to the latest leaks, this date has been shifted to March. Likewise, the RTX 5060 Ti model may also have a delay.

The output schedule of RTX 5070 and RTX 5060 series has changed

According to Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Nvidia postponed the release date of the RTX 5070 and the RTX 5060 series for a month. According to Kuo’s information, the main reason for this delay is restrictions on chip supply and supply chain problems. As you know, when the RTX 5080 and RTX 5090 models were released at the end of January, stocks were rapidly exhausted.

At this point, the RTX 5070 series will be released with two different models as RTX 5070 Ti and RTX 5070. Among them, RTX 5070 Ti will use the same GB203 GPU as the RTX 5080 and probably the same cooling solution. Therefore, Nvidia needs to allocate more resources in the production process. Likewise, the RTX 5060 Ti model shares a similar fate.

The previous leaks were that the GB205 GPU, which was found in the RTX 5070, was released in March. However, Ming-Chi Kuo says that this card can be released in April now.

Another reason for this delay can be the AMD RX 9070 series. Likewise, Nvidia’s release of the RTX 5060 series can be a strategic move for competition. However, no official explanation has yet been made about the exact dates. In the coming weeks, a clearer picture may be created with new leaks and announcements from Nvidia.
