A post shared on Reddit shows the GeForce RTX 4090 graphics card’s 16-pin power connection and the user’s 16-pin to 4×8-pin conversion cable burned out. The graphics card is Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 Gaming OC.
It is not yet known why the incident occurred, but there are two possibilities. The first is the poor quality of the cable.
