Google’s keyboard application called Gboard is frequently preferred, especially on Android devices, and according to a recent report, Google has started testing a feature in the application that users have been waiting for a long time.

It will now be easier to solve spelling and punctuation errors with Gboard’s new feature

Showcased in Gboard 13.4, currently in beta on Android, the Proofread option is rolling out in the keyboard’s toolbar as a way to have your text instantly checked for spelling or grammatical errors, all powered by generative AI.

When you tap the Proofread option on Gboard’s toolbar, which is still in the testing phase, your text will be processed and suggestions for correcting spelling or grammar, such as adding punctuation, will be provided. In the meantime, the Fix button will appear in line with the suggestions and when you click it, the errors will be corrected automatically.
