GameStop has chosen the 0x API for Ethereum-based transactions in its new cryptocurrency wallet. The altcoin price surged over 8% after the announcement.
GameStop announces altcoin partner to power DEX transactions in new wallet
According to the 0x blog post published today, GameStop will also use the 0x API for DEX transactions, which it previously used in NFTs. GameStop recently announced the launch of GameStop Wallet, a self-storing wallet that allows users to store, send, receive and exchange cryptocurrencies and NFTs. Currently available as an easy-to-use browser wallet (Chrome extension).

To empower DEX transactions in its new wallet, GameStop has agreed with the 0x API. 0x Labs Group Product Manager made the following statements in his statements on the subject:

0x (ZRX) price jumps after announcement
ZRX is the protocol that allows users to easily exchange Ethereum ERC20 tokens and others without the need for exchanges. After the GameStop announcement, the ZRX price increased over 10% in the last 24 hours. Accompanied by this sharp surge, it tested the $0.3500 resistance area once again. ZRX is now returning the bulk of those gains. At the time of writing, it is trading at $0.3241.
The protocol is powered by an ERC20 utility token known as ZRX. This altcoin project is preferred by a wide base outside of GameStop.
