The strategy game Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance, developed by the game giant Slitherine, was officially announced in late 2021. Although it was originally stated that it will be released in 2022, the game did not debut last year.
Since then, there has been no explanation about Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance. Today, finally, new information about the game has arrived. Slitherine shared gameplay footage from the production.
Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance will be released late 2023
Inspired by the 2019 Terminator: Dark Fate movie of Terminator, one of the most popular series of all time, the game will be in the real-time strategy (RTS) genre. The production will be about the war between machines and humans, as we are familiar with from the series.
The developers state that they want to tell their own stories in the game rather than relying on classic characters like John and Sarah Connor. In addition, it is said that many familiar items will take place, including the T-800.
Players will replace Alex Church, a member of a group of remnants of the US military called the Founders, in Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance’s single player mode. While navigating the US map in the game, you will be able to take new soldiers with you and replace them with those you lost in the war. It will also be possible to recruit soldiers through quests.
While Slitherine does not share any information about the exact release date of Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance, he says the game will be released towards the end of 2023.
