Game of Thrones, which has been at the top of the television world for years but disappointed with its last season, came to us with a different initiative in the digital world the other day. Warner Bros. has released series-specific NFTs.
Although the collection was eagerly awaited by the fans, unfortunately it could not deliver what was wanted. NFTs, some of which sold for hundreds of dollars, did not have a very inspiring, heartwarming design…
Some examples from the Game of Thrones NTF collection:
Reactions to Game of Thrones NFTs:
“This is almost as bad as the last episode of Game of Thrones. Look at the man’s hands. These are official GoT NFTs.”
“It looks like screenshots from The Sims.”
“This is the worst thing I’ve ever seen.”

So what was the purpose of this NFT collection?
Warner Bros. wanted to enable the creation of customizable characters with their Build Your Realm series NFTs. In addition to these NFTs, which are the first members of the NFT series, they will also be released to NFTs such as weapons and armor in the future, and the characters can be customized.
Of course, after this great success, it is a bit unclear whether the value of the new NFTs will meet the desired value.
