Galaxy Z Fold 5 features revealed before launch
According to shared reports, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will have a 7.6-inch OLED display with QXGA + resolution and 120Hz refresh rate on the front. This screen will be accompanied by a 6.2-inch cover screen in HD + resolution. In addition, the new hinge design used on the device is expected to reduce screen wrinkles by up to 15 percent.
At the heart of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will be the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy chipset paired with up to 1TB of storage and up to 12GB of RAM. Based on 4 nm process technology, this processor uses 3.19GHz ARM Cortex-X3, 2x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A715, 2x 2.8GHz ARM Cortex-A710 and 3x 2.0GHz ARM Cortex-A510 cores and Adreno 740 graphics unit.
Other expected features of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 include Android 13-based One UI 5.1, a 4,400 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support and IP58 certification water and dust resistance.
