One of the most important names in the smart watch world, Samsung is working hard for its new model. Leaking information about the Galaxy Watch 6, which is expected to take the stage in the second half of this year, continues to emerge.

Galaxy Watch 6 comes with Exynos W980

At the event, where Samsung will introduce its foldable smartphones, it will showcase its smartwatch series consisting of Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic models. According to the information received, wearable devices will take the stage with the Exynos W980.

According to the shared information, the Exynos W980 will offer 10 percent faster performance than the Exynos W920 used in the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 4 series. The processor will go through the 5nm manufacturing process. This is expected to have a positive effect on battery life.

Samsung included a 284 mAh battery in the 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 5. Judging by the previous information, the devices will offer a higher battery capacity. The company will use sapphire crystal glass on the Galaxy Watch 6 Pro model. It is among the leaked information that Gorilla Glass 6 will be used in standard models. In addition, the Pro model will have a 1.4-inch Super AMOLED screen and a titanium body.

It is not yet known whether the iconic rotating bezels offered by previous Samsung smartwatches will return. According to the shares, the standard model will come with a 1.47-inch screen. It will also have a higher resolution. This difference may seem small. However, there is a 10% increase in size on paper. Therefore, the resolution will also be reduced to 470 x 470 pixels to maintain the pixel density.
