Samsung will equip its next generation smartwatches with higher capacity batteries. It was previously revealed that the 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 5 will contain a 276mAh battery. For comparison, let us remind you that the current model carries a 247 mAh battery.
Battery capacities increase by 10-12%
Now, the battery capacity of the 44mm model has emerged. The Safety Korea database points to a 397 mAh battery. In other words, there is an improvement in this model compared to the previous version (361 mAh). We’re talking about a 10-12% increase in battery capacities.
Of course, battery capacity is not the only parameter that affects battery life. Therefore, we will see how the Galaxy Watch 5 will perform after its launch. However, the smartwatch can end all battery life complaints in the Galaxy Watch 4 series.
Galaxy Watch 5 series is expected to debut in the second half of 2022.
