Samsung has started work on the successor of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, which was released last year. In this context, we have been hearing leaks about the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra for a while. Now the flagship tablet has been spotted on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy platform.

What will the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra offer?

When we look at the screenshots, we see that the RAM capacity of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is hidden and is powered by the similar Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy platform with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Accordingly, the 3.2GHz clock speed in the base processor reaches 3.36GHz on this tablet. GPU clock speeds are 719 MHz instead of 680 MHz.

Coming to the results, the flagship tablet scores 2,054 and 5,426 points in the single-core and multi-core tests of the Geekbench 6 platform, respectively. We can say that these scores are higher than any Galaxy S23 model. As a matter of fact, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has a score of 1915 and 4874 in similar tests.

According to recent leaks, the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will showcase up to 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and a massive 14.6-inch display. So it’s certainly not surprising that it’s faster than the Galaxy S23 Ultra. As a matter of fact, the size of the tablet allows Samsung to use a larger cooling solution.

Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra expected features

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is expected to debut at the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the second half of 2023. The new Galaxy Tab will have an 11,200 mAh battery that supports 45w fast charging, 2960×1848 pixel resolution, 120% DCI-P3 color gamut support, in addition to 208.6 x 326.4 x 55mm dimensions, 737 g weight, and a dust and water resistant body.
