South Korean technology giant Samsung was featured in the news headlines today with a smart watch project ‘equipped with cameras all over’. Now the company is on the agenda with its new flagship tablet series. There is now a short time left for the official introduction of the tablet series called ‘Galaxy Tab S8’. However, a new piece of information put forward before the introduction of the devices is that tablets will only be an option in RAM and storage.
The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra offers more options than the other two models in the series:
In the first half of this year, the general features of the series emerged. Snoopytech, which became famous for sharing information about new technological products on Twitter, points out that the new flagship tablet series does not offer many options in one area. The two models that will be launched as Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ will have Wi-Fi and 5G versions. However, the RAM and storage space in these models is limited to 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. It will not be offered with any other configuration other than this option. The color options of these two models are stated as dark gray and silver.
The Wi-Fi version of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, another tablet in the series, has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, just like the other two models. On the other hand, the 5G model of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will be offered with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, as well as 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage options. What it lacks compared to the other two models is the color option. The Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is expected to be available in dark gray only.
Rumors about the series in the past were that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra will have a 14.6-inch AMOLED display. The device, which offers a 120 Hz refresh rate, is also expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC processor. The other two members of the series, the Galaxy Tab S8 will have 11-inch screens and the Galaxy Tab S8+ will have 12.4-inch screens. Samsung’s new flagship tablets are expected to be introduced in the first half of 2022.
