New details continue to emerge about the Galaxy S24 series, which Samsung is preparing to introduce in 2024. As you know, there are many questions in mind about the processor that will power the new phones and what kind of performance it will offer. Today, Galaxy S24 Ultra was tested in Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Here are the early test results.

Galaxy S24 Ultra tested in Geekbench

As you know, the Galaxy S24 series is said to come with two CPU variants such as Exynos 2400 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, depending on different markets. However, recent leaks were that the Galaxy S24 Ultra would only be supported by the Snapdragon platform. Reports from Geekbench confirm this.

When we look at the shared list, we see that the S24 Ultra was tested with a processor with 8GB RAM and 1 + 3 + 2 + 2 CPU configuration. This configuration confirms the existing reports about Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. As for the results, the smartphone scored 2,234 points in Geekbench’s single-core test and 6,807 points in the multi-core test.

If we make a small comparison, we can say that these results are 15 percent and 35 percent higher than the current flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, respectively. Therefore, there is a significant leap forward.

Galaxy S24 Ultra expected features

According to industry sources, the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be introduced with a 6.78-inch QuadHD + screen offering a resolution of 3120×1440 pixels on the front, in addition to a titanium frame. Additionally, this panel is expected to leave behind the curved design with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio. In the camera department, we will be greeted by a triple setup, most likely 50+50+200MP.

The smartphone is expected to come out of the box with Android 14-based OneUI 6.1 and a 5,000mAh battery pack. Additionally, 8+12GB RAM and 256GB+1TB storage options will be offered.
