As the launch of the Galaxy S24 series draws closer, everything Samsung plans to show off at its next Unpacked event is slowly being revealed.
Leaked images and renders of the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra in the last few weeks have given us very important clues about what we can expect from all three models in terms of design. In a new leak from a Korean website, we see the Galaxy S24 Ultra live next to the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
As seen in the photos (the black one is the S24 Ultra), the overall design is quite similar and Samsung has only made a few changes. The opening of the bottom-facing speaker is one of the most notable changes, and there are now two holes at the top instead of a single speaker/microphone hole.
Samsung also flattened the bottom of the S Pen, so pushing the S Pen might be a little trickier. The volume buttons also look slightly larger, and the bezels on the Galaxy S24 Ultra are slightly larger, as Samsung made the screen less curved on the Ultra model.
Speaking of the frame, it has been confirmed by numerous rumors over the last few months that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will use titanium instead of aluminum. However, there is no evidence of this in the new images. The source of these images also touches on details like the battery capacity and the megapixel rating of the primary camera, both of which will remain the same compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Generally speaking, it seems that many features will not change in Samsung’s next Galaxy S series.
