In some respects it lags behind its predecessor
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra has a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3,088 x 1,440 pixels (500 ppi). The panel used in the device offers a 19.3:9 aspect ratio and a refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The first test performed was the screen readability test.
The smartphone performed at the level of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but lagged behind its predecessor in some respects. For example, in indoor conditions, the contrast and detail of the panel was lower than the previous model.

Color reproduction was rated as generally correct by experts, but a shortage of green hues was sometimes observed, especially on light skin tones. When viewed from a certain angle, the images retained high contrast, brightness and other parameters.
The screen ranked first in this field by outperforming its competitors in video viewing experience. According to experts, color rendering, saturation and brightness were high and provided excellent image quality. The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra ranked third, one point behind the iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, with 148 points.
