According to reports, Samsung, which has been testing sensor shift technology since 2021, has applied to WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) for a new macro camera patent. Considering that Samsung lags behind Apple and other competitors in this technology, the new feature may appear on the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
It is not yet known which sensors of the Galaxy S23 Ultra will use the new technology. However, considering that it is used by the macro camera, we can say that it will offer a great improvement. Because today, this sensor, which can achieve 10x optical zoom (or 100x hybrid zoom), will ensure that the photos taken in different lighting conditions with its flagship will have a higher quality and clearer image.
