Having an important place in the camera sensor market, Samsung also provided sensors to the Motorola X30 Pro, the world’s first 200MP camera smartphone. It looks like Samsung wants to use a 200-megapixel sensor in the Galaxy S23 Ultra as well.

ISOCELL HP2
Samsung introduced the first 200MP camera sensor ISOCELL HP1 last year. Before this sensor was used in any phone, the company also introduced the 200MP ISOCELL HP3. Although Motorola X30 Pro uses ISOCELL HP1, ISOCELL HP3 is still not used in any device. It seems that Samsung will not use this sensor in the Galaxy S23 Ultra either.
According to the news of ETNews, Samsung has started to inform its camera partners that it will have a 200MP camera on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is also reported that the sensor to be used in the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be ISOCELL HP2. However, there is no information on how the HP2 will differ from other 200MP sensors.
