While these sensors are expected to be used in many smartphones, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will come up with a different solution. According to what was shared by Ice Universe, the new sensor that will power the new flagship will have 1/1.3-inch 0.6μm pixels and a larger aperture.

When we made a small comparison, the current flagship Galaxy S22 Ultra had a 1/1.33-inch 108MP sensor with 0.8µm pixels and f/1.8 aperture. Thus, we can say that the Galaxy S23 will show a great improvement in light gain. In addition, the new sensor to be included in the flagship is expected to be slightly larger compared to the 1/1.3-inch 48MP camera of the iPhone 14 Pro.
