Galaxy S23 series breaks record in Samsung history
As it is known, Samsung is home to a solid and loyal customer base in its home country of South Korea. We can say that the Galaxy S23 series, which attracts attention with both performance and camera features, has proven this once again. The flagship phones received 1.09 million pre-orders, surpassing the Galaxy S22 series’ record of 1.01 million.
Coming to the details, the Galaxy S23 Ultra represents 60 percent of the total pre-orders, according to local sources. Just behind the flagship model is the Galaxy S23 with a share of 24 percent. Galaxy S23 Plus, on the other hand, had a small share of 15 percent.
It should be noted that the new record is a first in Samsung’s history. As a matter of fact, the mainstream Galaxy S series attracts such attention for the first time. It seems that Samsung has started to see positive results from its decision to move the Note brand to the Galaxy S series. It should also be noted that the highest pre-order figure recorded in South Korea was reached with the Galaxy Note 10 series. The popular phone of the period received 1.4 million pre-orders in its own country.
