The first live photos of Samsung’s next Galaxy S flagship, the side, Galaxy S22 Ultra, have surfaced almost three months before its launch. Photos showing the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the updated rear camera module and a built-in S Pen slot have been released by FrontPageTech.
As seen in the photos, the Galaxy S22 Ultra looks more like a Galaxy Note than a Galaxy S model. It looks like Samsung has decided to update and bring back the Galaxy Note 10 design for a new generation.
Unlike the Note 10 series though, the back panel has a matte finish and six circular cutouts for the main cameras, laser autofocus module and LED flash. The dedicated S Pen slot is on the left side of the phone. It’s hard to say but the back panel could be made of plastic.
The main camera setup appears to consist of a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 10MP telephoto cameras with 3x and 10x zoom capabilities. Since the UDC (Under Screen Camera) technology is not yet ready to leave the Galaxy Z Fold 3 privilege, the selfie camera is located in the Infinity-O screen hole.
