Introducing the Galaxy S22 family, which consists of three different models, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22 Plus and Galaxy S22 Ultra last February, Samsung seems to increase the camera capabilities of the phones even more. Earlier today, the tech giant announced that a new camera-focused update will be offered for the Galaxy S22 series.
What does the new update offer?
Stating that the “Astro Hyperlapse” mode for flagship phones is under development in the shared statement, Samsung focuses on the HDR performance, color reproduction and QR code feature of the cameras in the new update. However, while the reading area of the QR code feature is expanded, users will now be able to show the location of the codes by touch. In addition, the problem of not closing the message behind the QR code on phones is also eliminated.
Another development is in the artificial intelligence-based image processing system. Samsung says that memory usage and AI (artificial intelligence) performance have been optimized in Photo, Video and Night modes, as well as improved stability. The update, which is currently available for South Korean users, is expected to be available for all devices soon.
This is how Samsung’s foldable phones are produced
All three of the Galaxy S22 series phones have been launched with Android 12 and Samsung’s One UI 4.1 interface. Planning four major Android updates for Galaxy S22, S22 Plus and S22 Ultra, Samsung will introduce Android 13-based One UI 5.0 to users until the end of November.
