Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM) announced that they were inspired by a catamaran while developing the AVINYA concept model. Designed as a hatchback, the model also has features of segments such as SUV and MPV. TPEM underlined that they made the model they developed as versatile as SUV vehicles.

TPEM announced that they will introduce its new model to automobile enthusiasts in 2025. It is not yet known whether the final model will resemble the concept design.
