FSP introduced the Cannon Pro 2500W power supply at Computex 2023 and was able to increase the capacity by 25 percent over the brand’s previous flagship unit. Although the Taiwanese power supply manufacturer is an expert in this field, it also showcased a CPU cooler alongside its new PSU solutions.

FSP Canon Pro 2500W

The Cannon Pro 2500W is essentially a server-grade power supply, but enthusiasts can use it on ATX desktop systems without any problems. Measuring 150 x 200 x 86mm, the Cannon Pro 2500W comes with ATX 3.0 certification, supporting the latest PCIe 5.0 (12VHPWR) power connector to power Nvidia’s latest GeForce RTX 40 series cards. On the other hand, we have been seeing 2500W PSUs since 2019, but the FPS Cannon Pro 2500W is the industry’s first 2500W power supply with ATX 3.0 certification.

The Cannon Pro 2500W, which has an 80 Plus Platinum rating, thus promises at least 89 percent efficiency at 100 percent load. Having a modular assembly design, the PSU is capable of powering up to four GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards with its 2,500W capacity. The Cannon Pro 2500W only comes with two 12VHPWR power connectors. However, the power supply provides six PCIe power connectors, allowing consumers to use the 16-pin power adapter for two other GeForce RTX 4090 graphics cards.

FSP Anemone 1000W

Of course, FSP did not only introduce the Cannon Pro 2500W at the fair. The firm also showcased the Anemoi series, an ATX 3.0 power supply that offers 1,000W of capacity certified 80 Plus Platinum. What makes the 150 x 150 x 86 mm Anemoi unique is that it uses aluminum heatsinks to aid cooling.

FSP Hydro PTM Pro 1650W

In addition, FSP adds a new one to its Hydro PTM Pro product portfolio. The manufacturer is expanding the range with a new 1,650W capacity, while the Hydro PTM Pro offers 80 Plus Platinum certification on the 1650W. The Hydro PTM Pro 1650W also comes with two 12VHPWR power connectors.

FSP also introduced the SFX-L type Dagger Pro L with 1,200W of power for small form factor enthusiasts. This PSU is also in ATX 3.0 form and measures 125 x 125 x 63.5 mm. The Dagger Pro 12VO, on the other hand, comes with an 80 Plus Gold rating and Intel’s ATX12VO standard.

Finally, FSP also introduced the MX09 CPU cooler. With dimensions of 147 x 149 x 160 mm and a dual tower design, the solution offers good headroom for high memory modules. For the MX09, which has a seven heatpipe thermal configuration, FSP said various platforms and sockets are supported.
