Cryptocurrency exchange Gateio and CryptoCom have partnered with the South Korean city of Busan as part of their blockchain development efforts.

Busan, South Korea, continues to work on blockchain. Busan, the largest city in the Asian country, aims for global leadership in blockchain technology. The tech city has previously signed deals with Binance, FTX and Huobi. The city, which started cooperation with global cryptocurrency exchanges, was declared as a blockchain region by the South Korean government.

Gateio and CryptoCom to Open Office in Busan City

Accelerating its global blockchain efforts, Busan will open offices in the city for two powerful exchanges. Infrastructure will be developed within the scope of joint works in the city. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed for this infrastructure.

According to the partnership, CryptoCom company has committed to support local blockchain initiatives. In addition, Gateio exchange stated that it will train a thousand blockchain experts in the city every year.

After this agreement, Busan, which has agreed with 5 major cryptocurrency exchanges in total, spends intensive work. Busan, which was declared a regulated special region in 2019, is completely focused on blockchain technology.
