From AMD to Intel! Ryzen 7000 release date announced

Has AMD changed the Ryzen 7000 release date for Intel?

AMD is preparing to release the next generation Ryzen processors that will have the AM5 socket. In the post made from the company’s social media accounts, it was announced that the Ryzen 7000 models will be introduced on August 29.

New processors with the Zen4 architecture were first expected to hit the market on September 15. However, the release date seems to have changed with the launch. New leaks suggest that the Zen 4 processors will launch on September 27. Let us remind you that the Intel 13th Generation Raptor Lake family will be announced on September 28.

In the new processor family, which is confirmed to have an AM5 socket; Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, Ryzen 5 7600X models are expected. The new Zen4 series will offer a 15 percent improvement in single-core and 35 percent in multi-core compared to Zen3.

Also, Ryzen 7000 prices appeared the other day. Zen4 architecture processors will come with a 10 to 12 percent increase compared to Ryzen 5000. The Ryzen 5 7600X model will be priced at $340, while the high-end Ryzen 9 7950X will be priced at $906.

The Ryzen 7000 family will be the first processors of the AM5 socket “built with the latest technologies” such as DDR5 memory and PCIe 5. We will hear more official information as part of the launch on August 29.
