Accordingly, the words “cis” and “cisgender”, which are related to gender, will now be considered insulting on the platform and will be prohibited. These terms refer to people whose gender identity matches the gender they were born with. For example, if a person defines himself as a woman and is a woman when he was born, he is among the people covered by this term.
According to Musk, those who use these terms will have their accounts temporarily suspended.

This statement of the famous billionaire came in response to the post of an account named James Esses. Saying that she does not believe in gender identities, Esses stated that she rejects the word “cis” and does not want to be called that. Afterwards, he stated that many messages containing these words were sent to him from trans activists.
