The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure made an important statement after the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Kahramanmaraş. According to the information shared, the Ministry directly contacted the operators serving in our country after the earthquake.
The Ministry stated in its social media account that they will increase the capacity of GSM operators. In addition, Deputy Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan announced that free services are available for those living in the region.
Free speech and internet service is offered to all citizens in the region:
“Our operators have been instructed to ensure uninterrupted communication for our citizens in the earthquake zone. Free speech and internet have been installed for all our citizens in the region. All mobile, internet and fixed lines, which are closed due to debt, are also open to calls.”
