Financial companies’ interest in Bitcoin products continues.

Asset management company Franklin Templeton has filed an application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for its spot Bitcoin ETF product.

The regulator postponed spot Bitcoin ETF applications from many companies such as BlackRock, Bitwise, Invesco and Fidelity on August 31.

According to the application, the fund will be structured as a trust, while Coinbase will protect Bitcoins. Bank of New York Mellon will be responsible for cash supply and management.

The SEC must make a decision on the application by October 16.
