France, which has accepted the European Union’s MiCA regulation, opens its doors to US crypto companies.

In the crypto industry, which entered a new era with the bankruptcy of FTX, the establishment of regulatory clarity began to be of great importance. The US has chosen to take a repressive and tough stance on crypto. On the other hand, the MiCA regulation prepared by the European Union was accepted by the member states.

France’s regulatory agency AMF, which accepted the MiCA, stated that its doors are open to nearly a hundred crypto companies, especially those from the USA.

France Opens Its Doors to US Crypto Companies

France’s regulator, AMF, has been taking a moderate stance on crypto regulations, which has been clarified with MiCA. AMF General Secretary Benoît de Juvigny pointed to crypto actors in the US.

Benoît de Juvigny gave the message that crypto companies in the US can come to the country if they want to take advantage of the French regime and MiCA. Benoît de Juvigny also underlined that they have good relations with their US colleagues.

The crypto sector of the USA, which has been heated recently, has brought legal processes and pressures. Many crypto companies noted that the US is facing regulatory pressures rather than regulatory clarifications. While these processes were taking place, a hand was extended to US crypto companies from France.

In addition, the European Union is working hard on how to regulate decentralized crypto companies. Benoît de Juvigny suggested that the AMF will document some of its ideas in the coming weeks.
