These new details were revealed in a new interview video made on YouTube by the team of Turn 10 Studios, the developer of the game.

If you want to get a higher frame rate, there’s the Performance RT mode, which bumps it up to 60fps but removes ray tracing on tracks. There’s also Performance mode, which goes up to 60fps but eliminates ray tracing entirely.

The bad news for Xbox Series S is that there will be no ray tracing effects when players are in racing mode. However, there will be ray tracing effects in other parts of the game.

The game supports 60fps at 1080p resolution when racing and dynamic resolution when in Performance mode on Xbox Series S. Quality mode will offer 1440p resolution at 30fps but will have a high setting for high quality motion blur. The game’s cinematics will run at 30fps at 1080p resolution as well as a high motion blur setting.

Forza Motorsport will be released as a Standard Edition for PC, Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles on October 10, and is also included in Xbox Game Pass. If you pre-order the Premium Edition, you can play five days in advance.
