Fortnite was not available on Apple App Store and Google Play Store platform for 1 year and 5 months. Although the game is not expected to return to both online stores, it is back again thanks to GeForce Now technology. NVIDIA and Epic Games teamed up to develop the mobile version of the popular battle royale game, which can be played via GeForce Now.

Nvidia’s head of product management, Aashish Patel, said that Epic Games and Nvidia are working to bring fortnite to iOS via its GeForce Now service. Patel said that if there are no problems, the game will be accessible via GeForce Now in October.

A limited-time beta will begin next week and will test game server capacity, graphics delivery, and touch. NVIDIA has opened registration and will provide users with extensive access to the beta in the next few weeks. Also, you don’t need a paid GeForce Now subscription to join. If you can join, you can easily play Fortnite via Safari on iOS and the GeForce Now app on Android.

In August 2020, Apple and Google removed Fortnite from their respective stores, competing with Epic Games for in-app payments. The publishers sued both companies, alleging that they engaged in anti-competitive behavior. Apple’s lawsuit was settled last year. The judge ruled that Epic did not prove that Apple violated the monopoly law.

The two sides entered the process of objecting to the aspects of the outcome for justified reasons. Apple passed mandatory App Store changes at the last minute that would force developers to allow users to redirect users to other payment methods and bypass the 30% cut on in-app payments.
