Fortnite is getting better graphics
With 4K 60fps resolution, dynamic visuals and physics, split-screen 60fps, fast loads and on the other hand, Unreal Engine 5 update on consoles, Fortnite game has improved its visual quality a lot.
With Fortnite Chapter 4, the game is now being upgraded to Unreal Engine 5.1. Two new technologies are coming in this version, called Nanite and Lumen. Nanite technology offers highly detailed architectural geometry. Objects become very detailed by rendering millions of polygons in real time. For example, it was stated that trees process 300 thousand polygons, while buildings process millions of polygons.
Lumen technology, on the other hand, creates ray-traced reflections on shiny materials and water. This maximizes quality. The lights reflected in real time at 60fps can also affect the colors of the costume on the character.
Again, the TEMPORAL SUPER RESOLUTION feature provides ultra-quality visuals at high frame rates, while VIRTUAL SHADOW MAPS ensures that each object produces shadows with high accuracy. These features can be experienced on new generation consoles and compatible computers.
