F1 fans both from Turkey and around the world seem to be waiting for a great race. According to the weather calendars made last week, it is expected to rain in places on the race day and therefore the track will be wet. Last year, we all witnessed together how great scenes emerged when the wet track, Intercity Istanbul Park and F1 came together.

Preparations for the race to be held this weekend have been completed and the trophy that will be awarded to the person who finishes first in the race on Sunday has been determined. While the trophy awarded last year was inspired by the Turkish flag, this year the first driver will be waiting for a trophy symbolizing the 8th turn of the track.
