Ryan Salame, former director of FTX, plans to testify again about illegal campaigns by Sam Bankman-Friend.
SBF, which has been on the agenda with illegal campaign issues recently, continues to shake other authorized names of FTX. Ryan Salame, who has given four defense statements about these events so far, announced that he plans to testify for the fifth time. A motion submitted by US federal prosecutors on August 14 states that Salame will not be available to testify as a witness.
The tremor of illegal campaigns continues
Court documents and Federal Election Commission data reveal that both Nishad Singh and Salame may have been involved in fraud and campaign finance violations in February. Salame reportedly gave more than $24 million to Republican candidates, causing the final election cycle.
According to prosecutors, Salame told a family member in November 2021 that Bankman-Fried wanted to eliminate anti-crypto lawmakers through political donations that Salame would help disband. The statements of FTX officials, who aim to launder money with illegal campaigns, are eagerly awaited.
