While Russia’s war with Ukraine re-determined all of Russia’s balances with the world’s countries, many organizations have suspended their ongoing work with Russia. The event has grown so much that the violence of the debates is increasing even in space.
If you remember, the ISS video released by the Russian Space Agency Roscosmos in the past days caused concern. While wondering how NASA would react to this published video, an explanation came, but there was no fear.
NASA, acting in a controlled manner in the face of these tensions, emphasized the ongoing cooperation on the ISS and other projects, but the Russian side did not stop. Roscosmos head Dmitry Rogozin tweeted a video of flags being lifted from Russian rockets. No response from NASA yet, but retired astronauts have something to say.
Former NASA Astronaut and retired US Navy Captain Scott Kelly responds to Rogozin’s twitter post: “Without those flags and the currency they bring, your space program will have no value. Maybe you can get a job at McDonald’s, of course if McDonalds still exists in Russia…”

Scrott received a boost from former astronaut Garrett Reisman. “Rogozin has always been an idiot. But now he’s truly mortally wounding Roscosmos and depleting one of the few remaining funds for Russia. Keep that in mind when your ATM is empty, you’re going to need a trampoline soon,” Reisman said.

Meanwhile, Scott Kelly appears to have been blocked by Rogozin…
