However, these claims for 2023 seem to have been thrown into 2025, according to the latest report of Display Supply Chain Consultants. The latest statement from DSCC says that “Apple is in no rush to enter the foldable smartphone market and is not planning until 2025.”
However, Apple is interested in foldable technology and is considering using it in future laptops. Allegedly, the new MacBook can be a full-size keyboard laptop when folded, and an external monitor when unfolded. It is said that the 20-inch screen can allow UHD/4K resolutions or higher.
