The Federation, on the other hand, will work with another studio in order not to kill the value of the brand. FIFA 25 could be announced in the winter of 2024
Electronic Arts’ new football series EA SPORTS FC will face a new rival called FIFA 25. According to the leak on Twitter, the FIFA federation is starting to develop its own game to compete with EA Sports.
The leak claims that FIFA 25 will be “one of the biggest projects in gaming history” and will come out in the winter of 2024. This came after Electronic Arts announced that FIFA 23 would be the last “FIFA” game.
EA’s executive team said that the FIFA game series is bigger than the federation. On the other hand, FIFA President Gianni Infantino objected to these claims and stated that they were working on a new generation game.
Despite the leaks, no statement has yet been made for EA SPORTS FC. However, the classic Career Mode and Ultimate Team are expected to continue. It should also be noted that team names, logos and jerseys will not be licensed.
Considering the leak is real, FIFA 24 will not be released and FIFA 25 will not be playable until late 2024. However, it should be noted that the federation has a big trump card and can rival EA Sports.
