In the past years, there have been large-scale forest fires in our country and all over the world. After these fires, some of which took days or weeks to extinguish, many living things lost their lives, and we were all burned inside, along with the forests.
Unfortunately, there were fears today as well, and with the coming of the summer months, we were faced with the news of another forest fire. The fire, which started in the Foça district of İzmir, started to spread in a short time.
The source of the fire has not yet been determined
Although the forest fire that started in Foça was noticed in a short time, unfortunately the fire grew gradually with the effect of the wind. In the districts of Seferihisar and Kemalpaşa, firefighting continues with helicopters dispatched to the region .
The fire extinguishing works, which started at around 14.00, were accelerated with 2 extinguishing planes, 3 helicopters, 15 sprinklers and 3 dozers sent to the region. Although the cause of the fire has not been determined yet, studies are continuing.
