According to a report by 9to5Google, an Android code used for the Pixel Tablet and Pixel Notepad indicates that the new phones will have a Y-aligned setup. This shows us that the fingerprint reader will be placed on the right or left side of the frame instead of the device’s screen.
It has also recently been revealed that the Pixel Notepad model will use a panel signed by Samsung Display, which currently supplies screens to Pixel series phones. According to shared reports, this panel will support a screen resolution of 1840 × 2208 and will offer an average brightness of 800 nits, up to a maximum of 1200 nits. In addition, it may have refresh rate support up to 120Hz, although it is not yet confirmed.
The Google Pixel Notepad is expected to feature a triple camera setup consisting of 64MP Sony IMX787 primary, 12MP IMX386 ultra-wide angle and 10.8MP S5K3J1 telephoto sensors. The internal camera of the device is said to have an 8MP Sony IMX355 sensor, while the front-facing outer camera may have an S5K3J1 sensor. Pixel Tablet and foldable Pixel Notepad will be available to users next year. With the new devices, we can say that Google will expand its ecosystem with Pixel series phones, tablets, TWS headphones and smart watch models.
