One of the most important names in the technology world, Apple’s iPad plans are coming to light. Details of the plans, which had been leaked before, began to emerge. These plans also include the foldable iPad program.
Gurman: “Foldable iPad won’t arrive in 2024”
Ming-Chi Kuo, who is famous for the leak, recently said that the foldable iPad model will take the stage in 2024. There is an environment of uncertainty about the release date of the model, which is rumored to be the iPad Fold.
Mark Gurman, who is known for his highly accurate information about Apple products, clarified the issue. Sharing the company’s iPad plans on Twitter, Gurman said that he had no idea that the foldable iPad model would come in 2024, based on the claim made by Ming-Chi Kuo.
On the other hand, Gurman has revealed new information for the iPad. The source confirmed some of the information that came out earlier. In the report obtained by Korea’s ET News, it was said that 11.1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models with OLED screens will be introduced in 2024. Gurman also confirmed these claims.
Apple introduced the iPad Pro model with the M2 processor in October last year. Built on the ARMv8 architecture and produced with 5nm technology, the processor is home to an 8-core CPU offering up to 15 percent faster performance and a 10-core GPU offering up to 35 percent faster graphics performance. The device, equipped with a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, includes advanced display technologies such as iPad Pro, P3 wide color gamut, True Tone and ProMotion.
