You add the people you want to your Close Friends list and only they can see your story if you wish. Instagram has decided to change the name of this feature. So what will be the new name of Close Friends?
Instagram makes Close Friends ‘People Chosen’
The Close Friends feature will now continue as Selected People. For now, the change in question, which is accessible to users in Brazil, has not spread worldwide. Therefore, Instagram still continues to use the name Close Friends in our country. Unfortunately, it remains unclear when the testing process will go outside of Brazil.
There will be no change in the working logic of the Selected People feature. As always, users will be able to add the people they want from their followers to their lists. Then, there will be two options, ‘Followers’ and ‘Selected People’, in the lower left corner of the story sharing section. If you wish, you will be able to send your story to all your followers or only to the people you choose.
According to the information obtained, you will also be able to select individual people for each story. You won’t have to go through just one list. That way, when you change your mind about who can see your stories, you won’t have to constantly update your Selected People list.
