Layer-1 Blockchain, which provides developers with more integrated and decentralized access compared to other chains, Flare has released some blockchain APIs on the platform by integrating its API portal with Google Cloud Marketplace.

This allows developers using the Google Cloud Marketplace to access Blockchain data from Flare nodes and Connected Chain nodes to easily perform Blockchain transactions.

Flare API Portal Launches Blockchain APIs

Google Cloud’s Cloud Marketplace now supports blockchain APIs Algorand, BNB Smart Chain, Bitcoin, Dogecoin, Ethereum, Flare, Litecoin, Songbird and XRP. All blockchain APIs added to Flare’s API Portal in the future will be available to Google Cloud developers.

Blockchain APIs allow developers to build applications that process transactions and query data on the chain for the latest state of the chain. Current access to APIs frees developers from having to run their own nodes for each blockchain they want to interact with. This is especially valuable when building cross-chain applications that need to query multiple data sources. Leading cryptocurrency exchanges and wallets use the API portal as a protection against their infrastructure.

This integration of Flare with Markatplace means anyone using Google Cloud can have easy access to all of Flare’s available APIs through their existing Google Cloud account. Spending on Flare APIs through the Google Cloud Marketplace can be added to a customer’s committed spend on Google Cloud.

“The greater availability of leading blockchain APIs on platforms like Google Cloud Marketplace is lowering barriers to Web3 participation,” said Josh Edwards, Flare VP of Engineering. This makes it easy for developers to test blockchain technology and its many use cases without being overwhelmed by heavy hardware costs. Additionally, it opens the possibility for larger organizations and their partners to experiment with a safe, secure and validated set of Web3 APIs. As a result, dev teams have the flexibility to build apps without any infrastructure issues, while allowing them to build and ship great products.”

“We are excited to support and promote the goals of our web3 partners in our ecosystem with the integration of Flare’s high-performance APIs into MarketPlace,” said James Tromans, Head of Web3 Engineering at Google Cloud.

Flare’s EVM-based Layer 1 is designed to increase the utility of blockchain by providing decentralized access to high-integrity data from other chains and Web2 sources. Connected with Flare’s data interoperability infrastructure, each blockchain will be added to Google Cloud at the end of the day, giving developers access to the top 100 chains.

About Flare

Flare is an EVM-based Layer 1 blockchain that provides developers with decentralized access to high integrity data from other chains and the internet. This enables applications to serve multiple chains through a single distribution, while enabling new use cases and monetization models.

Flare’s State Connectors enable the secure and scalable use of information from both other blockchains and the internet with smart contracts on Flare.

Flare Time Series Oracle offers highly decentralized pricing and data flow to data applications on Flare without the need to rely on central providers.

Flare API Portal is a gateway to Flare chains and any chain connected by Flare’s data collection protocols. It gives developers access to the best blockchain nodes.

Build with Flare to serve multiple ecosystems, with more data than ever before.
