Apple is preparing the entry-level MacBook Pro and four different Macs in 2022. Although still at the level of claims, Bloomberg writer Mark Gurman has announced quite detailed expectations. But according to Gurman, what will be the Mac models and features that Apple will release in 2022?

Entry-level MacBook Pro and other guesses

This year, Apple stepped up the gear even more after the ARM-based M1 processors it designed instead of Intel processors. Accordingly, Apple has further increased the performance with the M1 Max and Pro processors. According to Gurman, in 2022, the technology giant is seeking to expand its product range in addition to increasing this performance.

Mark Gurman claims that the new version of the 24-inch iMac will come with a high-end model powered by the new M2 processor. Accordingly, Apple may introduce the M2 powered MacBook Air in 2022. Gurman also reiterated his claim for a new entry-level MacBook Pro.

Mac Pro was last refreshed in 2019

Mark Gurman has previously claimed that the next-gen entry-level MacBook Pro will feature the same M2 processor as the next-generation MacBook Air. According to Gurman, there is a possibility that the M2 processor will also have the same number of CPU cores as the M1 chip. In this sense, the technology writer claims that the M2 processor will come with 10 graphics cores and improved performance.

Gurman also announced the expectation of the Mac Mini update in 2022, a new Mac Pro with an Apple processor. As you know, Mac Pros are Mac models produced by Apple for professionals. The model, which is a mockery of its grate design, was last seen in 2019. Of course, new MacBook Pro models will also come. However, next to the new M2 processor, there is a possibility that a more performance processor will appear, just like this year.

It is a matter of curiosity how Apple’s entry-level MacBook Pro model and MacBook Air will differ in performance, apart from design and weight. Although it is still at the claim level, Mark Gurman is here with a very detailed claim.

Apple introduced two new ARM-based processors under the name M1 Pro and M1 Max in its promotion this year. The processors produced by the technology giant TSMC with the 5 nm fabrication process will be replaced by the 3 nm technology in 2023.
