The popular phones of 2017, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus, received a surprise new update. Announcing the end of the road for flagship phones in May 2021, Samsung will apparently continue to support the devices.
Improved GPS stability
Reportedly, the new 420MB update, presented to users with the G95*FXXUCDVG4 version number, mainly focuses on the GPS stability of the devices. However, we can say that the Galaxy S8 series, which has been left alone with the Android 9 Pie version as of November 2021, has received more support than expected for an Android phone that is five and a half years old.

In addition to the Galaxy S8 phones, Samsung has recently changed the update structure of its flagships. With the new change applicable to 2021 devices and newer phones, devices will be offered four new operating systems and five years of security patches.
